Mahindra Electric introduced the Mahindra XUV400 as its first mass-produced electric SUV designed for modern connected mobility.
To complement the vehicle’s smart features, Mahindra launched the BluesensePlus ecosystem, enabling drivers to remotely monitor and control various vehicle functions through mobile and wearable applications. The platform was designed to provide a seamless digital experience that integrates mobility, connectivity, and convenience.
The BluesensePlus platform acts as a connected vehicle companion system for the Mahindra XUV400. It allows vehicle owners to interact with their car through mobile devices and smartwatches, giving them real-time access to key vehicle functions and notifications.
GoodWorkLabs partnered closely with Mahindra Electric as the primary software development partner to design and build the smartwatch companion application and enhance the BluesensePlus mobile application.
The smartwatch application enables users to remotely interact with their vehicle and monitor important data such as battery status, vehicle location, and trip information directly from their wearable device. In addition, the mobile application was redesigned with a modern dark theme UI, improving usability and visual experience for users.
Developing a connected vehicle ecosystem across mobile and wearable platforms involved several complex challenges:
To address these challenges, the development team worked closely with Mahindra’s in-house engineering teams to design a robust connected mobility solution.
