MetalMann is a global B2B platform designed to transform the non-ferrous metal industry by bringing transparency and efficiency to metal trading through realtime exchange values from London Metal Exchange (LME). The platform enables buyers and sellers across different countries to trade metals digitally through a secure and reliable marketplace.
By combining advanced mobile technologies with intelligent data analytics, MetalMann empowers metal processors, recyclers, and traders to access international business opportunities and streamline complex trading processes.
The MetalMann platform was built to digitise and automate the traditional non-ferrous metal trading ecosystem. Historically, trading activities such as bidding, negotiation, and order management were conducted manually using spreadsheets and offline communication channels.
The solution introduced a comprehensive digital marketplace where buyers and sellers can interact, post requirements, submit bids, and manage transactions seamlessly through mobile applications, where the pricing is backed by realtime metal exchange values from London Metal Exchange (LME).
The platform supports multiple metal categories (like copper, aluminium, tin, zinc, etc), product listings, and international trade processes while ensuring that only verified and authenticated participants are allowed to operate on the marketplace.
Building a digital trading ecosystem for the global metal industry required solving several complex challenges:

Understanding the Trading Ecosystem -
The team collaborated with multiple departments within the organisation to analyze the metal trading workflow and identify the necessary components required to digitise the process.

Structuring Product Categories -
The platform supports around 25 categories of metals with nearly 250 product listings. The system was designed with intuitive product categorisation, images, and descriptions so users could easily navigate and select products.
Secure User Onboarding -
A robust onboarding and verification process was implemented to ensure that only authenticated buyers and sellers could participate in the marketplace.
Enabling Digital Bidding -
Since bidding is the core of the business model, a dedicated bidding system was built that allows sellers to post price offers and buyers to respond with competitive bids. The final approval of transactions remains controlled by the admin desk to maintain transparency and credibility.
Generating Sale Contract -
Post completion of auction, the bidding process is solidified with Sale Contract that is bounded by the stipulations of the trading platform which are honoured by both parties, i.e. Buyer and Vendor.
