Overview:

ZEE5 sought to deliver a seamless and immersive digital viewing experience to millions of users across the globe. With a fast-growing content library and high daily user volume, the platform required cutting-edge performance, intuitive UX, and cross-platform scalability. GoodWorkLabs partnered with ZEE5 to enhance its mobile and web presence, streamline the user journey, and improve platform responsiveness.

Our Challenges:

Creating a content-rich streaming platform that performs consistently across devices was a core challenge. The app needed to support high-definition video playback, personalised recommendations, secure DRM protection, content curation and handle massive concurrent traffic especially during live events and prime-time releases.

Our Approach:

Under a Managed Services Model, we deployed dedicated scrum teams to execute and deliver module wise deliverables for different aspects of the ZEE5 platform.

We designed and developed a sleek, high-performing frontend UI, optimised for fast content discovery and minimal loading times. Our tech team implemented scalable backend services, improved content caching strategies, and enabled real-time sync across devices. Focus was placed on intuitive navigation, multi-language support, and personalised content curation.
